Most services stream straight through. The rest you paste as a link, and Vinto works out what the track is.
Plays Directly

Search by name or paste a link. This is the default for plain text queries.

Tracks, sets and profile links.
Bandcamp
Track and album links, streamed rather than matched to something else.
Deezer
Tracks, albums and playlists. Deezer is also used first for text search when credentials are set.
Pandora
Station and track links.

Open source music platform, handled by Vinto directly.
Radio And Live Streams
!radio takes a station name, random, or a stream URL. !stations browses the list.
Direct Stream URLs
Any HTTP audio stream the bot can reach.
Links That Get Matched
Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Tidal, Audiomack, Mixcloud and JioSaavn do not hand playable audio to bots. Paste one of their links anyway. Vinto reads the artist, title and duration from the service, then plays the track from a source it can stream, usually Deezer, otherwise YouTube.
The match is only as good as the metadata. A rare live version, a remaster or a regional release can end up as a different recording. When it has to be the exact take, search by name and use !pick to choose the result yourself.
Whole albums and playlists work the same way. The first track starts immediately, the rest fills in behind it.
How It Works Underneath
Resolution and playback run through NodeLink, while the voice connection stays on Fluxer. That is where the direct sources come from, and it is also why the list can grow without a bot update: a source that NodeLink learns to stream becomes available here too.
Lyrics come from Genius through the same path. Use !lyrics while something is playing.
