Filters
Seven presets, five EQ curves, and a mood command that sets several at once. Everything applies to the session you are in.
Sound Commands
- !filter <name>Switch a preset on. Available: bassboost, nightcore, vaporwave, 8d, soft, karaoke, radio, and off.
- !eq <preset>Five band equalizer curves: flat, pop, rock, edm, vocal.
- !tempo <value>Play faster or slower without changing the key.
- !pitch <value>Shift the pitch up or down.
- !mood <name>Bundles filter, EQ, tempo and pitch in one go: chill, hype, retro, clean, radio.
- !effectsShow what is currently active, and clear it.
What The Presets Do
Bassboost
Lifts the low end around 110 Hz. The most used one, and the easiest to overdo.
Nightcore
Speeds the track up and raises the pitch with it.
Vaporwave
The opposite. Slower, lower, with the highs rolled off.
8D
Slow stereo panning. Works on headphones, does nothing useful on a phone speaker.
Soft
Takes the edge off the treble and trims the very low end.
Karaoke
Phase cancellation to push centred vocals down. How well it works depends entirely on the mix.
Radio
Band limited and compressed, like a small transistor set.
A Note On Stacking
Filters combine, and a bass boost on top of nightcore on top of a tempo change usually sounds worse than either alone. !effects lists what is running, so you can take pieces off instead of guessing.
Changes apply while the track keeps playing. There is a short gap when the audio pipeline restarts.
